Combining Uni and Bi Directional Circuits – examples and information

A combination of BI and UNI directional circuits can also be built.

 

Example 1:

 

The following diagram shows a Bi-Directional sub circuit in a UNI Directional carrier circuit with an AB direction setting:

 

The CircuitRelation direction is set to AB.

 

Also notice the ports’ TxRx settings.

Example 2:

 

A Bi-Directional sub circuit in a UNI Directional carrier circuit with both AB and BA directions set.

 

The CircuitRelation direction is set to BI and the DirectionCarrier is set to AB or BA

Circuit Direction Identifier

 

Ports relating to a Circuit - as seen from the Circuit form - can have their Direction information adjusted when required, by double clicking on the port's DirectionId property, and selecting one of the 3 given options: BI, A-B, or B-A
