Polygons and their Polygon Types can be viewed and edited easily from the Show All button in the Network Map Actions button bar.
Show All - Polygons
The Polygons option from the Show All drop down list open up the Polygons popup window with the following grid information.

The Polygons background color |

The Site name associated with the Polygon |

Edit a Polygon
From the Polygon popup window modifications can be applied to any Polygon row.
▪Click on the Edit icon (paper and pencil) of the required row
▪Make the changes to the required fields
▪When finished click on the green tick icon at the beginning of the row to save the modifications
Changing a Polygon Type field in a Polygon may be required when deleting a Polygon Type. Polygon Types must have no associations to Polygons prior to their deletion. |
Delete a Polygon
Deleting a Polygon does not delete the IMS inventory objects related to that Polygon.
From the Polygon popup window, deletions can be applied to any Polygon row.
▪Click on the Check Box icon of the required row
▪Click the Delete button (red X icon) in the Polygon window ribbon - above the column titles row
▪A green success message will appear in the lower right corner of the GUI
Refresh the Network Map to validate the deletion of the Polygon.
Show All - Polygon Types
The Polygon Types option from the Show All drop down list open up the Polygon Types popup window showing all the polygon Type names.
Edit a Polygon Type
From the Polygon Type popup window, modifications can be applied to any Polygon Type row.
▪Click on the Edit icon (paper and pencil) of the required row
▪Make the changes to the name field
▪When finished click on the green tick icon at the beginning of the row to save the modifications
Delete a Polygon Type
From the Polygon Type popup window, deletions can be applied to any Polygon Type row.
Polygon Types can be deleted only if any related Polygons have been removed. All associated Polygons will first have to be associated with another Polygon Type first. Refer to the earlier section called Edit a Polygon on how to modify a Polygon's information. |
