Locations containing one or more material items are called Stocks in IMS Warehouse. One or more of these stocks must be created in order to manage ordering, delivery, reservation, and lay out process steps.
Managing the Stock is accessed from the IMS Main Menu under the Warehouse module, and then by selecting the Stock item in the provided drop down list.
Create a Warehouse Stock location
From the MaterialTypeForm Actions button bar:
▪Click on the Create new option, which opens up the Create new Stock popup window
▪Fill in the required fields of information, in particular the mandatory ones
▪Click on the Save icon, in the lower left corner of the popup window when finished.
