Create multiple Transition Points
Transition Points are created in a similar way to creating Manholes / Handholes. |
From the Network Map's Options bar:

▪Select the Drawoption (Pencil icon)
▪From the dropdown list, select the Point option
This will reveal a blue dot on the Network Map. Now select the various site locations that will house the Transition Point by:
|
Left clicking on the map - the blue dot will turn into a yellow location marker |
|
From the Network Map's Options bar, select the Save Drawbuffer ... (Up Arrow icon) - the Create Multiple Sites popup window appears. |
|
Fill in the required information - in particular selecting the appropriate Site Template form the Site Template dropdown field which contains the necessary transition point equipment |
▪Click on the Save icon in the lower left corner of the popup window when completed

To create a single Transition Point, follow the same steps as in the section called Create a single Manhole / Handhole, but when selecting the Site Template, ensure a Transition Point template is chosen. |
Popup View of the Transition Point
To obtain a view of elements within a Transition Point:
▪Left click on the Transition Point on the map
This opens up a popup window with tabs of related information. As seen in the next screen shot there are ports that can serve as logical transition points for circuits (Ports tab), and a simple graphic of the Transition Point's layout (Drawing tab).
