The following sections describe an Order’s information tabs.

Details
The following table gives a brief description of all the fields contained in the Details tab
ParentOrder |
Name of the order that calls this one. This order then becomes a child order. |
Name |
This order’s name – Can be a number or some text that defines this order at high level i.e., Provide Ethernet Service, New Cable Site Rollout, etc. |
OrderType |
This can be considered an individual task within an order i.e., Fiber Loopback Test, Design VLAN Service, Update CRM record with Service Test Result, etc. |
Type |
Options are: Fault and Order. Fault determines this order instance as a trouble ticket |
OrderStatusId |
Status of this order: Closed, Open, or Cancelled |
Severity |
Usually applies to Trouble Tickets: Critical, Major, Minor, Lowest |
Priority |
This Order’s priority – values are 1 to 4 – 1 is the highest priority |
LeadTime |
Lead Time is the amount of days between process initiation and completion |
Customer |
The name of the customer associated with this order |
Vendor |
Optional field to show a vendor name i.e., if equipment is invloved |
Description |
Optional text field to further describe this order |
PlannedStartDate |
Proposed start date of this order |
PlannedStopDate |
Proposed finish date of this order |
DeliveryDate |
Proposed delivery date to customer or department |
AcceptDate |
(Autofilled) Date this order was started |
Assigned to user |
(Autofilled) Name of IMS user that has been assigned to this order |
ContactDetails |
Contact name or number for this order |
Active Tasks
Tasks that are being worked on or ready to be worked on.
Complete order
This tab page, lists all the tasks within an order/TT with their related status, dates, lead times, and users.
Logging (All)
A log entry is automatically recorded for every action on a task i.e., Username, Date of action, Type of logging (Accept, Dispatch, etc), and wether the log is visible publicly
All extra fields
(Tab only appears when extra fields are configured)
Every order can have its own related extra fields of information. These would be set up by an IMS administrator.
Bill Of Materials
(tab only appears when applicable)
A list of all materials used/necessary for execution of the order
Related Objects
All objects (nodes, circuits, sites etc.) related to the order. Every new object created in which this order number is used is automatically added to the list.
WF Graphical
An interactive graphical representation of the order in a flow diagram.
GeoMap
A geographical representation of the objects in the order.
