The Port Template and Internal port Template feature enables the adding of ports to a Card Code
Definition. When this Card Code Definition is then related to a Card Definition, these ports automatically
become part of the Card Definition as well.
The PortTemplate and InternalPortTemplate tabs are made available on the CardCodeDefinition form
only when ports (and/or internal ports) have already been added.
If there are no such tabs, then it is a simple case of adding them through the CardCodeDefinition Actions
button bar options. This is explained further in the section called Adding Ports to a Card Code Definition.
This screen shot is an example of the PortTemplate tab in an existing Card Code Definition instance.
