There are two versions of the UserForm Actions Button Bar. One is for an Account User managing other User Accounts, whilst the other version is for an Account User managing their own User Account.
Managing other User Accounts
This UserForms Action Button Bar provides the following features and functionality:
Reset Password |
This causes the User to change their password the next time they log back into IMS |
Add permissions |
Adding this User to other User Groups – permissions are assigned to User Groups. |
Add system account |
This allows a User Account to be associated to an external system like a Network or Element Management system, CRM, etc. |
Create new |
Create a New User Account altogether |
Delete |
Delete this User Account |
Close Form |
Close the User form |
Managing own User Account
The UserForms Action Button Bar provides the following features and functionality:
Change password |
Allows this User to change their password now rather than the next time they log back into IMS |
Auto openform settings |
Provides a way to add IMS object forms to their GUI automatically on logging into IMS |
Reload my permissions |
Refreshes any updates made regarding User Group activity for this User |
2FA |
Provides this User account with 2 Factor Authentication. A QR Code and 8 textual recovery codes are used in this method of authentication. See the section below called IAM & 2FA on how to use this feature. |
Reset password |
Allows this User to change their password the next time they log back into IMS |

Adding this User to other User Groups – permissions are assigned to User Groups. |
Add system account |
Add a third party system account to this User Account – adding the System Account’s own User Name and Password, and System Interface Name i.e., Juniper, Cisco, AlcatelLucent, etc. |
